Kids Craft (icecreams!)

Well the weather here in Ireland is so unpredictable at the moment(as usual!) so we had another afternoon of craft but just to remind the kids it is actually summer we made some icecream decorations. I saw the idea in a magazine at the libary last week. It was very simple. We used styrofoam balls as the icecream, made the cones from card and 'toppings' from whatever was in our art supplies...pompom cherries, buttons, pins and bead sprinkles. We put a ribbon on the back to hang it up.

Kids Craft (glass paint)

The kids wanted to craft after lunch but I was feeling a bit lazy. So I decided to use some of the supplies I bought while on a shopping trip to Belfast last weekend. I bought the glass painting kit for £2 and the pictures for 60p each. So the whole craft cost £4.40 or approx €5.

No explaination needed really I just let the kids work away! Easy Peasy:) The kids want to stick them in their bedroom windows.

There's lots of paint left and we never even used the outliner so I have an idea to use acetate paper and make some stain glass window pictures... more to follow.

Welcome Baby!

Well, I've been a bit quiet on the blog front because I was busy ripple-ing!

And since being here last I became an aunty again. I love being an aunty already to two nieces and a nephew, they each bring such a different dynamic to our ever growing family!

When I discovered my brother and his girlfriend where having a boy I decided to make something for him. And here's what I made..........

I got the pattern and wonderful instructions from Attic24. I Love it I hope Baby R spends lots of hours cuddled up with it :)

Welcome to our family Baby R. With another niece or nephew due in 8 weeks I'll be busy creating again.....I'll keep you updated ;)
